(last rev. 22/02/2024) The mobility form must be presented by ALL PhD students regardless of the duration of the period abroad and also in the event of renounciation of the contribution. The Board of administration, at its meeting of 21.02.2024, resolved to set aside funds to cover the costs of mobility, in order to ensure continuity in the interventions supporting the mobility of doctoral students. In accordance with the above-mentioned resolution, funding for the mobility of doctoral students is ensured For PhD scholarship holders, to the extent of 50% of the amount of the scholarship itself (gross of the INPS withholding tax payable by the recipient - Art. 9 DM 45/2013), for doctoral students without a grant or an equivalent form of support, € 42.00 net per day as a study premium (the contribution is insured for mobility up to and including 31/12/2024). Unlike previous years, for the year 2024 there is NO further additional contribution. Stays must be part of the research activities of the PhD course and must be approved by the Course Coordinator or, for periods longer than 6 months, also be approved by the Board of teachers. For the maximum period abroad see: art. 8 of the regulation for PhD students up to the 37th cycle art. 8 of the regulation for PhD students from the 38th cycle Before departure, the doctoral student must submit to the Doctoral Office the "Authorization Request Form", filled in all parts and duly signed by the doctoral student, the Director of the Department and the Course Coordinator; the "letter of acceptance” of the host structure or "agreement" (only if required by the host structure). At the end of the stay, the doctoral student must submit to the doctoral office a "Final Report" with details of the period and description of the activity carried out, completed on the letterhead of the host establishment and countersigned by the foreign supervisor or tutor. The amount paid to the student will be calculated on the basis of the days actually worked and confirmed by the final report. The contribution will be paid monthly.
